Detailed Description
Designed by the renowned Yves Behar, Jawbone takes mobile style to new heights. Jawbone's perforated shield curves to match the outline of your face while the inside surface is made from medical grade plastic to provide a soft and smooth feel on the skin. Jawbone can be worn on either ear, and you can customize your fit by choosing an earloop and earbud from the several shapes and sizes provided. Jawbone's ergonomic design enhances the acoustic performance and keeps the device lightweight, stable and comfortable. How it works- Jawbone measures the ambient noise around you and automatically enhances the incoming audio and adjusts the volume to make every incoming call sound crystal clear. Using adaptive sound technology, the Jawbone uses two microphones and a voice activity sensor. When placed against the cheek, the sensor detects voice vibrations rather than picking up the sound from your mouth. Excellent sound quality, adaptive noise cancellation, catchy design and comfortable fit.

This unit packs a ton of good stuff into something lighter than my phone bill. It is extremely comfortable. It is much louder than my previous bluetooth headset which I actually had to press into my head to hear the person I was speaking with. Could it still be louder? Yes. In a moving car with all the windows up I still have to concentrate to hear the voice, but I do not have to push it into my head. I might be hard of hearing at this point so my study is not scientific. It does have a rubber piece which locks in very securely and drives the volume down into your ear and that is nice. It also comes with various ear pieces to make the best possible fit. I like it and would recommend it very highly.

(Review by Mindy S, Carlsbad, CA) The sound on the Jawbone is great! I'm not a big fan of the way the buttons are set up, when you push the talk button it is like pushing the headset into you head. Also, I would prefer, that if I try to answer my phone on the handset, that would automatically override the Jawbone, but it doesn't. I've taken the Bluetooth [headset] off a few times but forgotten to turn it off, so when I went to answer my phone on the handset, the callers couldn't hear me, or I them, because the Jawbone was still activated. I guess that's more a problem with the operator than with the headset! Other than those issues, I do really like the Jawbone headset. It's comfortable to wear, and as I said, the sound is really great. People have complained about other Bluetooth headsets I've used, but not this one.
